Cool of Night:-

The lightest of breezes caress my skin,

my body softly trembling from the coldness within.

The leaves gently flutter and the flowers sweetly dance

as I watch in admiration, a calm, in a trance.

These soft heart shaped leaves embellish a vine,

Supporting little purple flowers as they intertwine.

Birds do flutter in the trees above

Calling out in symphonies in search of love.

The sun has set with the skies a smooth crimson and gold..

the night would be better with someone to hold.
